The Don Pepin Garcia E.R.H. features a Sumatra Rosado Oscuro wrapper and a blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos from Condega, Estelí, and Jalapa. This medium to full-bodied cigar delivers key flavors of cherry vanilla, wood, earth, natural tobacco, and pepper, with tasting notes of earth, oak, cocoa, and anise mingling with hints of clove and nutmeg. Renowned for its distinct peppery blend, these cigars are crafted with meticulously selected Nicaraguan tobacco, overseen by My Father's Master Blender, Pepin Garcia.
E.R.H stands for El Rey de Los Habanos, named after the factory in Little Havana, Miami, where Don Pepin Garcia started out. The El Rey de Los Habanos line was released in Miami in 2005 and discontinued around 2011. In 2024, My Father Cigars announced El Rey de Los Habanos would be returning as Don Pepin Garcia E.R.H., with a packaging refresh and a modified blend. Produced in Nicaragua at the My Father Cigars S.A. factory, this cigar represents the Garcia family's continued commitment to traditional Cuban-style craftsmanship using premium Nicaraguan tobaccos.
This cigar is better suited for more experienced cigar enthusiasts, though it's certainly not inappropriate for novices to try. The cigar demonstrates excellent draw and very good burn characteristics with medium plus complexity. My Father Cigars began shipping the Don Pepin Garcia E.R.H. to retailers in early 2025 following its initial soft launch for Tobacconist Association of America retailers.
