This full-bodied cigar features long-fillers from the fertile Nicaraguan growing regions of Jalapa and Esteli, both known for producing bold and hearty tobaccos. The name "Norteno" means "northerners" in Spanish and was chosen because people from Estelí are referred to as 'Nortenos'. This was the first cigar brand released from the Drew Estate factory after Willy Herrera was named Master Blender in June of 2014.
